Flooding and Online Learning

Thesis:

On Thursday, March 14, 2024 there was heavy rain that lasted for a very long time. The heavy rain caused flooding in several areas. The floods blocked access to the roads, so the school decided to hold online learning.

Argument 1:

Firstly, the flood that occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2024 was predicted by BMKG. BMKG said that extreme weather conditions in the period from March 8 to 14 were triggered by at least three combined atmospheric dynamics. With this prediction, the impact of the flood itself should have been reduced. But what happens is the opposite, the floods that occur are getting worse every year.

Argument 2:

Secondly, the flooding that occurred on that day greatly impacted the activities of local residents. Many roads leading to work and school were flooded. Therefore, the school decided to conduct online learning.

Argument 3:

Thirdly, by doing online learning, students and teachers do not need to go to school to teach and learn. I think this method is very good, because it can solve problems by utilizing technology. With this online learning, students and teachers do not need to go to school to learn and teach.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, the heavy rain on Thursday, March 14, 2024, caused widespread flooding and disrupted teaching and learning activities in schools. Despite warnings, the flooding continued, prompting a shift to online learning as a practical solution. Online learning is becoming an important asset in safeguarding education.
